Dayyem is a dynamic and comprehensive Renewable Energy Training Program for university students, developed through a partnership between Kuwait Green Building Council and bp Kuwait. Conducted over five Saturdays, this program is designed for 25 dedicated Architecture and Engineering students, offering an immersive experience into the world of renewable energy.


Participants will develop both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills, gaining insights into renewable energy technologies, their applications in Kuwait, and the opportunities and challenges faced in the field. The program also delves into the economic aspects of renewable energy and fosters engaging discussions on innovative local applications, equipping students with the tools to drive sustainable change within their community.


Objective

The primary objective of Dayyem is to broaden students' understanding of renewable energy by raising awareness of energy resources and exploring the economic, environmental, and security aspects of energy production and consumption. The program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to assess the potential of renewable energy technologies and their role in sustainable development.



By fostering interest and active engagement, Dayyem encourages students to integrate renewable energy and sustainable practices into their future professional paths, empowering them to become leaders in the transition to a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
